I have learned about marketing strategies

It is important to say what you mean and mean what you say! Have integrity as we are also teaching our students professionalism:) If we are unable to directly help our students then we can definitely assist them in getting with someone within our institution that can! Take the extra step to make a student feel seen and understood!

Building a strong rapport of trust with our students is necessary for our institution to thrive and for our students to be successful.

It is important to give accurate and precise information to students and if you do not know the answer, refer the student to someone that can provide this information so we are not misleading our future students.

Make sure to give accurate and precise information when it comes to your institution and do not "guesstimate"!

Being honest and transparent with perspective students is so important! I also learned that if a student plans to transfer schools, it is up to each institution to decide if the credits will transfer to their school.

The Triad of Regulations work together to make sure that educational institutions are meeting certain criteria and benchmarks in student success rates as well as job placement rates.  I also learned that even though the University is accredited through a regulating body to receive Title IV funding, certain programs still have to go through state accreditation for licensure or certification.
