Here is a chance to share how long you have worked in admissions and share any memorable stories you might have.

I have been in the Commercial Truck Driving industry for over 16 years. I love every aspect of my job as an admission rep for the CDL program. I enjoy enrolling students in a field that I love.

@Sweetamey : I can imagine how difficult it would be to start out as a "small fish" in such a big pond, Dianne!  Rest assured that this course really seems to address all of the important compliance issues as they relate to recruiting - at least as far as I have seen in my short 5 year history in higher education.  Best of luck to you and I hope it gets easier as you go.

This course really reaffirmed what I've already been doing for the last 5 years.  It's so important to know all of these details because it can mean the difference between remaining employed or not.  I'm glad to know that all of the various aspects of working in an admissions setting and remaining compliant are so thoroughly addressed for everyone taking this course!

This course has basically reinforced many of the best practices that I have learned over the years.

Much of what I learned in this course has given me the framework to apply the lessons with my prospective students. I came into this position with a marketing background but the interpersonal lessons that I get to use everyday have been the best challenge and lesson. I like how this course was focused on the development of lessons as well as tools and approached that can easily be applied to current practices.

This has been a long and difficult journey for an administrator and teacher and jack of all trades to run such a small school on large school rules.  But the more I learn the more I am very happy to apply all that I am learning and follow those rules.

The admissions information is some of the most valuable information that I've had.  Taught me so very mych

I think it is a very good thing to have such a standard.  This way students will not be told what is not true and everything they need to know.
