@Sweetamey : I can imagine how difficult it would be to start out as a "small fish" in such a big pond, Dianne! Rest assured that this course really seems to address all of the important compliance issues as they relate to recruiting - at least as far as I have seen in my short 5 year history in higher education. This course really reaffirmed what I've already been doing for the last 5 years. It's so important to know all of these details because it can mean the difference between remaining employed or not. I'm glad to know that all of the various aspects of working in an admissions setting and remaining compliant are so thoroughly addressed for everyone taking this course!

Much of what I learned in this course has given me the framework to apply the lessons with my prospective students. I came into this position with a marketing background but the interpersonal lessons that I get to use everyday have been the best challenge and lesson. I like how this course was focused on the development of lessons as well as tools and approached that can easily be applied to current practices.
