Rubrics provide the student with information regarding the course requirements.

subjective assessments allow students to show their ability for higher thinking

A summative assessment is a judgement of the knowledge level of the student.

Select the technology tool that will provide the student with assessments in a timely fashion and give the instructor the information needed to modify course content.

I learned new ways of delivering and evaluating students such as WebQuests and portfolios.

This was a very informative resource. It allowed me the opportunity to evaluate the methods of assessment that I use and be aware of other resources that are available to me

I plan to use the concepts of self-review that are discussed in the course in my own course reflection discussion next week.

Discussion

You have to make sure whatever training tools you are using are right for your class and the projects that come up along the way.

All the topics given in this lesson are very interesting . The most that stood out to me the most were the challenges and how to over come them. 1st is technology as many students have issues with up to date computers or laptops and issues with wifi. Also, cheating and plagarism. I like the methods that were suggested by using proctor tools like locking browsers  to prevent right clicks and search on google and having them timed and shuffling exams.

I learned that rubrics are way more useful than just providing consistency.
