This module reinforced what I knew, that WBL should develop technical, academic, and employability skills, and the emphasis shifts depending on where students are on the continuum. The Urban Alliance example was useful (structured pre-work, paid internships, wage progression based on skill development, and mentoring support).

I plan to look at our current WBL offerings and see where we could add more structure, especially around employability skills training before placements. I also want to incorporate more rubrics for student self-assessment and employer feedback.

Curious what others are doing for pre-work training.
