I've learned how important for teachers to pour into themselves to increase their knowledge and understanding of the industry in which they teach. All CTE teacher should attend relevant and meaning professional development opportunities, build industry specific network or employer partner, join professional and or technical organizations all in an effort to stay current and abreast. I can encourage CTE teachers in my district to take advantage and seek out these trainings and or relationships.
