Teachers need to be cognizant of the different types of learner profiles. Effective communication is the key to limit conflict and there are

various strategies that I can use to reduce student attrition : personally contacting the alienated, giving tips for time management for the overwhelmed, helping set priorities for those with competing responsibilities and advice for those experiencing technical issues.

It is important to treat others the way I would want to be treated - with diginity when being criticized; remember to motivate and instill confidence when signals are given and to promote participation when students display a lack of interest.

The guidelines need to be clear and concise and continually coaching needs to be provided.

Very similar to teaching in the classroom; teaching and learning is a relationship. Building strong relationships with your students doesn't guarantee success; but ii is more probable. 

I teach adult students and I realize that they will feel more comfortable with the course and their learning if they know they can rely on me for both educational and technical support. I need to connect with my students quickly and maintain a working relationship with them.

I plan on being a coach and personal trainer for them to offer encourage to them that they can attain their GED.
