If you make a mistake it results in warnings and termination. I feel that is a lot of pressure. It does depend on the mistake however.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

The short video discussed how these 2 controls are used to manage people. I asked the question to stimulate a deeper understanding of the use of these controls. To me leaders bend, break, and make rules/controls. Followers follow. Normative controls (Example: shame the person in to doing something) are better but harder to establish. Instrumental (Example: if you do this, you will get that) are easier to set up.

My concern is an individual with (A.D.D. or etc.) learning disability may look around because they have trouble focusing on the task at hand. They may even become aggravated. I have not experienced it either. My concern was if this is occuring. What would be a good way to handle it. Children with A.D.D will eventually become adults looking for careers.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

The short video discussed how these 2 controls are used to manage people. I asked the question to stimulate a deeper understanding of the use of these controls. To me leaders bend, break, and make rules/controls. Followers follow. Normative controls (Example: shame the person in to doing something) are better but harder to establish. Instrumental (Example: if you do this, you will get that) are easier to set up.

My concern is an individual with (A.D.D. or etc.) learning disability may look around because they have trouble focusing on the task at hand. They may even become aggravated. I have not experienced it either. My concern was if this is occuring. What would be a good way to handle it. Children with A.D.D will eventually become adults looking for careers.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

The careers they choose will not always give room for excuses. I try to show the good and the bad of both sides so that they can make a choice. I would like to see more leaders. Do we help them govern behavior or choices?
