I like the idea of breaking the lectures up into 10-15 minute chunks so the effectiveness of the students ability to absorb the material does not drop off.

Getting to know the students on the first day will set the tone for the remainder of the class.

The key to success in teaching is all about the planning and preparation.

As an instructor we must lead by example in professionalism.  To have the role of a mentor is one that has serious weight, as we have the ability to influence peoples' entire lives.

When you as the instructor believe a student will succeed, subconsciously you work to make that a reality.  So as an instructor, I believe that our greatest aim should be to avoid any biases and genuinely want to see every student succeed!

Using different techniques for the various learning styles, visual, auditory, writing, and kinesthetic, can make the engagement of the students far more effective.

This module was showing the difference between an instructor and a facilitator.  Where the later creates an environment of engagement with the students to give them a richer understanding of the materials presented.
