About me

Hi, my name is Dianne Sanlorenzo and I have been in the pet industry for most of my life, I own and operate a Dog Grooming Salon in Jacksonville, FL. I love to teach people and after teaching students for many years for a large pet store chain I've decided to branch out on my own. I am now working on getting my school license through the Department of Education so that I can open my own grooming school.

I just finished the CM201 Admissions Compliance Training and now understand why things are done the way they are and the rules to follow. Once I do get my license I plan to take many of the other courses because the learning never ends.

Our School

This has been a long journey and when I first started I did not know all that had to be done. I am very impressed with how things are handled and what I need to learn to continue on with my School.

I have a very small school unlike most on here. I teach students to become Pet Stylists and love what I do. I am a jack of all trades here and am happy to have the help of so many to get my school in order.

I think it is a very good thing to have such a standard. This way students will not be told what is not true and everything they need to know.

Advertising Longer Distance

I am just applying with the DOE so came here for more Education that I need. ??? My school will be very small so I would love to hear other ideas for advertisement. I will be using google ads and flyers for local and looking into TV, Radio and a few other things. It will be a one of a kind school with the closest being 200 miles away. I would love to be able to advertise to those within that 200 miles. Ideas welcome. :)
