You even see this in families; so, how can we expect to see differently in the classroom student body.  Since the work environment is dependent on "team work", it seems that it is put-upon us to "grow" students who grow accustomed to working in this environment.  Daily I am faced with students who enter our campus, and dread working in teams.  What did they do in your MBA curriculum to foster, and grow, teaming? My students would put at least one chair, sometimes two, between them and the next student.  While this was not unusual to see in one-off situations, it was happening overall in the student body.  None of them were approachable and none of them wanted to interact with me, or each other. Now, you ask, what did I do?  Well, I started by meeting individually with each student; then I incorporated team building exercises into my lectures; and split the students into groups to work on in-class assignments. I always went forward in a role with the motto that I always wanted to be able to look at myself in the mirror, no matter what the situation. I have found that you just need to admit it if you make a mistake and never cover a mistake up.  Funny, over the years, I have seen many people try to lie and misrepresent themselves and it never works.  Ethical behavior let's you sleep at night.  Don't you agree?</div>					<!-- </p> -->

This will ensure that they not only understand the financial obligation they are undertaking; but, maybe they will apply themselves more from knowing the impacts to their wallets. I'm in the Finance field and one cannot get a job if your credit score is poor.  This is a huge problem with the current state of the economy. 	<div class="river_content_display">I find that one of the biggest hurdles students face, while attending college, is in the technology "gap".  Most college students are very high tech, having grown up with computers, ipods and smart phones.  They thrive through communications revolving around email, text and download environments.  However, colleges are still very paper-oriented and are sadly lacking in wireless communications which involve their student base. I came from a high tech company into the education arena and I'm amazed at the paper-driven environment.  What is it going to take to move the academia world forward?</div>					<!-- </p> -->

	<div class="river_content_display">Ethical behavior is something that should come natural; but oftentimes is not.  I always went forward in a role with the motto that I always wanted to be able to look at myself in the mirror, no matter what the situation. I have found that you just need to admit it if you make a mistake and never cover a mistake up.  Funny, over the years, I have seen many people try to lie and misrepresent themselves and it never works.  Ethical behavior let's you sleep at night.  Don't you agree?</div>					<!-- </p> -->

This will ensure that they not only understand the financial obligation they are undertaking; but, maybe they will apply themselves more from knowing the impacts to their wallets. I'm in the Finance field and one cannot get a job if your credit score is poor.  This is a huge problem with the current state of the economy. This is a employability factor that never existed before and is a sign of the "bleeding" economy. What other factors do you think will impact employability in the short term? 	<div class="river_content_display">I find that one of the biggest hurdles students face, while attending college, is in the technology "gap".  Most college students are very high tech, having grown up with computers, ipods and smart phones.  They thrive through communications revolving around email, text and download environments.  However, colleges are still very paper-oriented and are sadly lacking in wireless communications which involve their student base. I came from a high tech company into the education arena and I'm amazed at the paper-driven environment.  What is it going to take to move the academia world forward?</div>					<!-- </p> -->
