From all of your posts I have learned that I have a way to go, and that in particular we need to get testimonials up on the site (after receiving a signed release). I have taken the new approach that Publicity is the core of a Marketing plan. We have begun to network by joining the local Chamber of Commerce. Next we are going to revamp our web site using our students, graduates, training partners and employers’ input. We are scheduling a “Grand Opening/Open House” with t-shirts that advertise our “new” web site. We are going to publicize it with a press release. I just finished reading through all of your postings about the various methods the you folks use to generate excitement and build relationships within your schools. AWESOME! I have made a list that will become my new plan. It will include: 1) Hosting Charity Events and Open Houses. 2) Press releases about Grads. 3) Checks to students that make referrals. 4) Giving t-shirts away as walking advertisements.
