When doing anything in our world we have to have the correct tools that will help us accomplish our goals.  To have this we must do our research on each and make sure that it will get the desired outcome.  When working in an online class, I will make sure that I investigate all the tools available to me and use the ones that fit my personality and my student's learning.  I have not used some of the learning tools that have been mentioned but they sound like they would be a great learning experience for certain types of learners.

When being an online instructor it is important to have a delivery method that suits the instructor, and multiple strategies to help every kind of learner.  It is important as well to modify the delivery and strategies on the students needs.  I will consider these ideas in my online classroom to help my students succceed.  It reminds me of personalized learning and that should be an instructors focus.  "How does that student learn and what in my class is helping them?"

What I took away was it is important to understand your style of teaching and it is important to evaluate and reflect on how you deliver your class.  I beleive that reflection is the key to every good teacher and I plan on doing this in my online class.

When teaching an online class, it is important to make sure that the content and materials are organized for the students and the instructor as well.  The online instructor must make sure that there is a pattern in the teaching in both a synchronous and asynchronous classroom.  I feel that both of these topics are important to establish so that the learning outcomes are achieved.

What I gained from this module was that technology to use in the online classroom is extremely important.  When you have the right tools as an online teacher, you will come across better and will be understood in your teaching.  The list of all the choices for technology that was given, some of the options I have never heard of and would like to get familiar with them to use as tools in my classroom.

In this module I learned how to author a course through evaluation, how to deliver instruction, how to create an assessment plan using rubrics.  I will use these strategies when setting up the course and considering the beginning and the end of my course.

A thought that I had during this lesson was the relationship between the teacher and students that I learned in the earlier class.  This relationship will go hand in hand with providing meaningful feedback.  It is such a delicate way that things must be addressed in the online relem.  If you respond a certain way the student may not like how you answered them and give up or complain that you did not want to give help.  I see that it is so easy to mess up and I must be strong with this aspect when teaching online.

Learning that a well developed syllabus is very important is what I learned.  I never really thought about this process and what time and energy on the instructors part to make sure that the syllabus is in depth and gives percice instructions.  This is such a hard thing for me to do in written form and I would have to have a lot of training and examples to be able to make a good syllabus.

In this module I have learned so far how to create, test the created module and maintain the learning within the modules.  I think that this is the most important part to start the class out and keep the momentum of the class.  I will use this information to make my courses and testing it and organizing the lessons and content.

In this module was a lot of information on how to handle "behaviors" of every kind.  As a classroom teacher it is so much easier to mange behavior and with a spoken word.  In the E-Learning environment it seems difficult to balance the behavioral side of it.  I think that sometimes people read into emails the wrong way and that straight communication is better, however, I also see the views that this module shared with us.  This would be an area that I would have to really work on.
