I am a Medical Assistant instructor for Sanford-Brown in Pttsburgh and I have been teaching here for about a year but I have been teaching for a total of 10 years. I enjoy sharing my life skills with the students. It is always inspiring and fulfilling to see the "light-bulb" go on when instructing the students. Having such a diverse group of individuals to instruct is wonderful. I really enjoy meeting new students and help create the opportunity for them to improve their life. Many are very challenging but I ceratainly agree with the "listening" strategy that we are encouraged to utilize with our students that may be angry or frustrated. It certainly helps, and shows the students that we as educators, genuinely care.
