Hello everyone,

My name is Sonia Navarro and I've been working in the field of education since 2002. I truly believe in the value of education and I use ethical sales practices when conducting my daily duties. I believe that compliance and doing the right thing builds strong relationships with our students and most importantly keeps us out of trouble. I enjoy learning new things as it relates to compliance specially since the for-profit industry is highly scrutinized and I want to make sure I am always updated with changes. As a manager I want to have peace of mind knowing that my employees as well as myself are educated in more ways than one especially when it comes to compliance and ethical practices.

Effective communication in a team

Running a team requires effective communication. Although it might be time consuming, it is extremely important for the supervisor to individualize their communication style to those on the team. Different personalities, styles of learning, and communication exist within a team, so by being cognizant of that, supervisors can then customize their style of communication that will be effective for the team members.
