In this module I have learned several techniques for motivating students.  I find these methods very applicable to an online course. 

In this module I learned a lot more about what motivates students, and how to bring the entire class together in active learning.  This has been very helpful. 

In this module, I feel that I need to really be reactive to students in both an online and face-to-face setting.  Students will have various levels of stress in their lives, and various levels of confidence with the materials and taking that into account will allow the class to flow more smoothly. 

From this module i have learned that students come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.  This gives a teacher pause to consider all posibilities when addressing students' concerns.
