An internship can teach students practical skills beyond what they can learn in the classroom. Even though, we as teachers, aim to keep students up-to-date on what's happening in the field, a student may find that the only way to get hands-on experience and understanding is by joining the industry and becoming a part of it.

The course discusses the importance of developing ones own style of teaching. It is equally important to continuous seek alternative styles of teaching through trial and error and research.
