Hello Colleagues and Professionals,

My name is Mrs. Davis. I am a high school science teacher who currently teaches Biology in Hinesville Georgia. I love teaching science. I am a non traditional teacher and my education is includes a Master's and undergraduate degree in Biology. I have always loved being in the classroom with students. I became an educator right after graduating with the bachelors in biology and I have continued off an on for a total of 8 years. As a military spouse I have taught in many states including North Carolina, New Mexico and Texas. My original teaching experience was in my home town in North Carolina. After moving and having children I re-certified through the teacher ready program in Florida and I have been teaching and earning certifications in each state with our military relocations. As I continue on this journey I am most interested in reminding student who important STEM and science careers are, especially amidst our current pandemic situation. I hope to continue to encourage students that careers in science and research are important to society and attainable despite thought that science is a hard subject.
