I really enjoyed this course . I really loved how the course said to Refoucus if neccessary. I really love this because students tend to loose motivation towards the end of the term.

This allows students to learn their classmates the first day of class. I find that students make friends and find great study partners just from the introduction. This exercise is not to embarace the student but to ease the anxiety of shy students.

You have to build students confidence in Math, so I allow them to go to board and work out the problems. When they succeed they continue to study and feel good about themselves. Motivation is the key to the students learning the courses that they fear the most.

Some students are really, really shy and when you ask them to introduce themselves they normally talk very soft and just say their name.When you allow time in class for them to select a partner and they tell them a little about themselves, they forget all about being shy. It's normally easier to introduce someone else rather than yourself.
