Activity

Main thing I learned is arrive early and be prepared. That first impression is so important and sets the tone for the class.

Being prepared, ready, and on time is invaluable to being an effective instructor.

I learned from this module that I do not need to be the smartest in the room to be an effective instructor.

Group activities and projects are invaluable to a vet tech student.

Learning about the five components will allow me to teach my students as effectively as possible.

The main thing I learned in the module that I did not know was all of the body language cues that can be given when teaching a classroom full of adults. I am going to be sure to practice those things.

I found it interesting and somewhat comforting that all the fears I have about being more than just a scholar, and being a good facilitator are all normal. I enjoyed the comparison to being a coach as Vet med is very much a team sport. It was nice working on a module I could relate too.
