	<div class="river_content_display">It depends on the subject but I make a variety. I do multiple choice, matching and I do use short answer. For instance, When I taught Med terminology I used a lot of short answer because I want the spelling done correctly. You have to know how to spell medical terms.I feel multiple choice is not appropriate for spelling. So it depends on what your testing when you use a certain format to make up the test.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

	<div class="river_content_display">I do believe in giving study guides to a certain extent. I don't give them a study guide with the answers to the test or even word for word on the test. If they take good notes and review the study guide then that will help them with the test. I don't believe in giving them all multiple choice either. I do put some short answers on the test to make them think of the correct answer.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

Take notes. I had one classmate that would just lean back in his chair and just take it all in. Now I know there are people that can just listen BUT when they take tests and fail them then I need to talk to them about there style of learning.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

The 20 year olds all were together and the 30 to 40 year old were together. My instructor at that time didn't have us all work together. Being an instructor now I make sure there are no clicks. 	<div class="river_content_display">After teaching a term I got to know what type of styles my students took for learning and studying. I am one of those people that I have to write down things. Take notes. I had one classmate that would just lean back in his chair and just take it all in. Now I know there are people that can just listen BUT when they take tests and fail them then I need to talk to them about there style of learning.</div>					<!-- </p> -->

I like to give examples for the students to understand what it is in the work place. The 20 year olds all were together and the 30 to 40 year old were together. My instructor at that time didn't have us all work together. Being an instructor now I make sure there are no clicks. I don't have the same two people buddy up all the time. </div>					<!-- </p> -->
