About me

Dr. Royce Robertson has devoted his career to the intersection of assessment, accreditation, technology, and teaching and learning. Dr. Robertson currently serves as the Director of Academic Technology at Le Moyne College, a Jesuit institution located in Syracuse, NY. In that role, he leads and supports initiatives such as course, faculty, and program development; program accreditation; student learning assessment; and, technology for teaching and learning. Prior to working at Le Moyne, Dr. Robertson served as the Director of Outcomes Assessment for two fully online institutions, including Walden University. There here was instrumental in the state and national accreditation of three fully online teacher licensure programs. Prior to that, Dr. Robertson worked at Plymouth State University where he was the Assistant Professor of Technology and Education, including being the Program Coordinator of the Master’s in Computer Technology Education. Dr. Robertson has worked in classrooms at every grade level as well teaching undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral courses. 

Dr. Robertson has prior publications on assessment systems and electronic portfolios, including “Complex Moving Parts: Assessment Systems and Electronic Portfolios” in the International Journal of ePortfolio (2013). He says presented on assessment, ePortfolios, and teaching and learning at numerous state, regional, national, and international conferences. 

Dr. Robertson earned a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science Education from Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, MI; a Master of Education in School Administration and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from the Plymouth State University in New Hampshire; and an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University, Sarasota, FL.
