Some of the areas I intend to work on are some of the holistic/personalized approaches for the start of the course, particularly setting up a virtual first day of class. I agree with those that say that the preparation on the part of the instructor is <span style="text-decoration: underline;">very</span> time consuming, particularly if you want to use it on a regular basis. 	<div class="river_content_display"><p>If the assignment attached to the course, in the rubric, can you account for due dates of assignments? Can you account for word count also? In our RAD discussions we instruct the students that the initial post needs to be posted by 3rd day and 2 responses to peers on the 7th day. Do any other programs do this? Also, can the rubric take into account for grammar, punctuation, etc? Or are rubrics geared more for just the content material?</p>

I also learned that it is important to not use the same method every time to ensure those that struggle with that one particular assessment has a chance to be assessed at their learning style. 	<div class="river_content_display"><p>I have discovered that my online feedback is clear and concise and gives the students information to improve upon their courses. Area of improvement is still trying to keep the students engaged, particularly when part of the lecture is done with the whole group online. I also feel it is hard to demonstrate some of the radiography concepts without the students actually taking any x-rays.</p>

Some of the areas I intend to work on are some of the holistic/personalized approaches for the start of the course, particularly setting up a virtual first day of class. I agree with those that say that the preparation on the part of the instructor is <span style="text-decoration: underline;">very</span> time consuming, particularly if you want to use it on a regular basis. 	<div class="river_content_display"><p>If the assignment attached to the course, in the rubric, can you account for due dates of assignments? Can you account for word count also? In our RAD discussions we instruct the students that the initial post needs to be posted by 3rd day and 2 responses to peers on the 7th day. Do any other programs do this? Also, can the rubric take into account for grammar, punctuation, etc? Or are rubrics geared more for just the content material?</p>

I also learned that it is important to not use the same method every time to ensure those that struggle with that one particular assessment has a chance to be assessed at their learning style. I also learned that it is important to gather feedback from instructors and students regarding testing methods so that improvement can be made for the next course.</p>

	<div class="river_content_display"><p>I have discovered that my online feedback is clear and concise and gives the students information to improve upon their courses. Area of improvement is still trying to keep the students engaged, particularly when part of the lecture is done with the whole group online. I also feel it is hard to demonstrate some of the radiography concepts without the students actually taking any x-rays.</p>
