The couse looks at the pros and cons or the vertual workspace and how it is becoming a go to way of work in this current pandemic. 

What I've learnt is that feed back from both alumni and emplyers of passed students are important. it provives the Career Service Department with information of their strenghts and weakeness. wat they are doing right and wat need improvement as it has to do with preparing student for the working world. keeping contact with them also provide insite information on chances in the workplace, job offerings etc. 

An alumni commity can be something we impliment in the institution to better inprove bout our services and to keep track on how well our pass students are performing in their respective jobs.

I learnt that while creating your resume you should take the time to recognise all past job experiences, skills learnt, accomplishments etc so that you can put forth your best skills and attribrutes on for potential employes to see. The Career Service Department should have workshops that educate students on the following. How to start your resume, build your resume, prepare reference list and then creat a final Draft. They also will teach student how to do a job search, how to network, ways of networking, how to dress when they recieve an interview, skills to use while being interviewed,… >>>

I've learnt that a Career Service Department (CSD) should develope a comprehensive Library to provide important tools for students and staff. Newspapers, professional journals, industry updates, online resourse materials and job postings should be available in this library. Job search workshops are essintial in teaching students and staff how to set goals and ubjectives and how to achieve their success. How to create attractive resumes and cover letters, how to network youself, how to sell yourself and how to be successful in interviews. From the module, I learnt how essential a mission statement is to any department because it helps every one to understand the goals and purpose of the department. Any decision taken should be in line with fullfilling the mission statement. The Career Servives Department (CSD) is important because it provides a wide variety of services essential for a student's self and career growth.
