Learning is always the path to growth, not only as a career advisor, but to help those who seek careers. This will enable them in appropriate roles that will support and give them satisfaction having a purpose for what they do.

So far, this course is excellent. The best part in my opinion is the short explanations to glean and remember making it a great tool to communicate with students to help them on their way. Hopefully these concepts will be received by students a sincere and genuine.

Just starting this course and finding it helpful to fill gaps of techniques for engaging students building rapport and trust, to get to know them and help find the right placement for them and their future. 

Being organized is very important to the organization as we collaborate. Accurate record keeping and always looking for ways to improve to keep our records more stream lined. Doing audits to find errors and correcting them and keeping them up to date.

The process of obtaining placement results can be complex without clearly defining the formula or process used to achieve accurate outcomes. That is why it is not always an effective way to measure a percentage accurately.

Through this course, I gained a deeper understanding of the critical importance of helping students transition from education to employment. Whether they attend a trade school or a university, ensuring graduates secure a job or start a new career immediately after graduation is essential.

I also learned the significance of tracking graduates’ progress as part of my responsibilities as a Career Services Advisor at ATI. This includes understanding the various definitions of “gainful employment” and how these standards impact both students and institutions.
