Identifying the potential students' goals and objectives is one of the most important steps in the enrollment process.  But the trust relationship is the number one. Once you've earned that trust by listening (and not judging), communication gets easier because the walls come down and the students open up. Being part of an educational entity, it is our attitude that will make or break the student's enthusiasm to move forward with their process to start or continue their education with our organization.  Our attitude toward them or even internal team members can change things for the better or make matters worse than they really are.

Great information when it comes to renewal time and also when it comes to dealing with complaints.

I learned about the refund policy and requirements. Also the 10day absence rule and the 60day refund rule for the date of determination. Also, terminology for the acronyms used like, LDA, LOA, etc.

Learned that the application process has specific guidelines in order to avoid delays. Also the differences between a new program app and a revised program app.  Oh and that not sending the required fee will delay the process and if over $1,000, the fee can be made in payments.

I've learned that the state provides guidance on how to operate a career school successfully by putting into place laws and rules in the practice of enrolling prospective students. This is to ensure that the career school has all the information it needs to stay in compliance. 

I intend to use this information in the day-to-day operations of the school and utilize as applicable.
