In this module, I learned how to better  understand the reasons for selecting the various types of questions, evaluations and tips for constructing questions within each type. As well as how they compare and contrast to one another. 

I learned about CAT activities. Utilizing CAT activities, can serve  as a link or connection between teaching and testing. As well as demonstrate how well a student is learning, retaking and their ability to apply the information. This can be useful for the instructor to know and gage the students understanding. It also discusses the relevance of individualized versus collective group activities.

I learned the importance of understanding questioning techniques. How to ask a question and why it is important to incorporate different question techniques. Also, the instructor’s most common mistake in question is asking too board of a question. the application of questioning creates efficiency of the instructor,  and the participation of the students which enhances overall learning.

I learned the importance of developing good lesson plans that are concise. Also, the importance of keeping lectures to 10-15 minutes and use a variety of delivery methods to meet all students needs.

The importance of introductions to decrease anxiety and nervousness. It also help all parties get to know one another on a more personal level, which gives the students a sense that the instructor cares about them and their success in the course.
