Emphasizing the importance of having a thorough understanding the institution's programs, policies, and regulatory requirements was a main area of focus within this module. Focusing on these items will enable us to provide accurate guidance to our students. I will stay on top of this by maintaining my Resource Notebook and making a solid effort to reach out to and network with my colleagues so that I can learn more about their jobs and how their departments affect the lives of our students.

As an Admissions Representative, it is important that I fully understand our institution, our programs, etc. To provide the best guidance for my students it is important to understand what departments such as Student Services, Marketing, Career Placement, etc. have to offer, to do this, I should make strong efforts to network with the people who work in, and those who are in charge of these departments. To help with this, I will be sure to make contact with these colleagues of mine so that I can be well informed, which will translate to helping students more effectively. Thank you.

It is my responsibility to provide students with the most accurate and comprehensible information regarding programs, institutional policies, accreditation, licensure, financial assistance, etc. I must be sure to inform students of their rights and responsibilities while also maintaining proper documentation throughout the Admissions/Enrollment process in order to be fully compliant and transparent. I have learned, and have been reminded, of the importance of staying up to date and informed on any and all statutes and regulations as it is necessary to do so in order to provide students with a world class student experience.
