I like the personal noted from real expereinces as I could relate to some of them. Even as an instructor presenting alecture for students I can apply some of these same helpful tools. The students eyes are a great help becasue they catch things we may miss. This is no easy task and nothing is perfect you have to constantly update and revise as you go through each course. Also just becasue the class is asynchronous , the instructor still must provide student engagement and can sometimes be a challenge. So there are both advantages and disadvantages to both.</p>

I think it also build confidence to an instructor who has never taught before. I have seen to many times where the faculty literally get ran over by the students. There is also no respect there. You do not have to be mean or cruel about it but there is a fine line to say I am the isntructor and you are the students and we are here for a common goal to see you scucceed in this course and program.</p>

Speaking in general, some people do not like getting involved and chooses to say nothing but again regardless it needs to be reported and investigated. I made it a habit with starting the class off with a scenario, where the student would have to complete the next steps and other faculty would join in depending on the type of scenario it is. I would also put the students into groups and have them teach the class to each other with of course interjections if something important is missing. I like the personal noted from real expereinces as I could relate to some of them. Even as an instructor presenting alecture for students I can apply some of these same helpful tools. The students eyes are a great help becasue they catch things we may miss. This is no easy task and nothing is perfect you have to constantly update and revise as you go through each course. Also just becasue the class is asynchronous , the instructor still must provide student engagement and can sometimes be a challenge. So there are both advantages and disadvantages to both.</p>

I have seen to many times where the faculty literally get ran over by the students. There is also no respect there. You do not have to be mean or cruel about it but there is a fine line to say I am the isntructor and you are the students and we are here for a common goal to see you scucceed in this course and program.</p>

I made it a habit with starting the class off with a scenario, where the student would have to complete the next steps and other faculty would join in depending on the type of scenario it is. I would also put the students into groups and have them teach the class to each other with of course interjections if something important is missing.
