I enjoyed learning about the SAGE framework in this module.  I like the simplicity and practicality of the components of Student Choice, Authentic Work, Global Significance, and Exhibition to a Real-World Audience.  The last, Exhibition to a Real-World Audience, I find is really important for community college students because I find that many have a hard time presenting their work, receiving feedback, and then improving their work. Having project presentations, professional reviews, or critiques with industry professionals are invaluable experiences to help prepare them for their industry.  

This module demonstrated a couple of good examples of how to start to internationalize my course by modifying a learning outcome and course description. One thing that comes to mind that I am challenged with is balancing the very broad "global" aspects of adding international elements to a course, while also focusing on a specific international area, country, or market.   I have started to make these changes to my syllabus but like others have mention this will have to go through the curriculum committee process for approval which is always challenging. 

I agree with what other's have said about the Nepalese cuisine class project.  I thought that was a great example in this module.  My courses are very project focused, and I find that my students learn best with a kinesthetic approach.  Working individually or in group projects, my students are able to learn and apply concepts while also being creative.  This also fits nicely into the Global Social Justice Framework, and building in global themes and topics into the projects could be easily done. 

I like how global competence is defined with the skills in module #1. I do believe that it has become a requirement to prepare our students to be more globally aware so that they are better prepared for the working in a global economy, but also so that they can become more empathetic to other cultures around the world.  We need to prepare our students to better understand how the interactive experiences they create are received by different cultures.
