From this topic, I have learnt that it is essenitla to consider a number of factors while designing a rubric. An example of such factors include hte purpose of the rubric, its type and the range and scoring scales. such consdierations provides a room for the development of a relevant rubric. 

Failure to spend too much time in the development of a rubric can result in a misleading guide. Likewise, putting too much criteria on a rubric can be misleading to both a student and an instructor. I have learnt to avoid making such mistakes from this topic. 

I have learnt that a rubric is essential in that it allows educators to articulate the goals of an assignment. As a student, i can benefit from the use of a rubric since I can understand the primary requirements of an assignment. I can also judge my work by going through a rubric and developing an understanding of the main points of the assignment. 

Identifying past experiences that can impact my ability to achieve academic goals can dictate my success as an online learners. Likewise, employing different strategies such as planning and goal setting can allow me to boost my self-confidence.  

From this topic, I have learnt that Asynchronous communnication tools are essential in allowing students to access all asepcts of online education. I have also learnt that synchronous communication tools allows online students to have real-time communication and collaboration. 

From this topic, I have learnt different lessons regarding online classes. I have understood that gaining access to informaiton in the syllabus improves the preparation of students since they become aware of courrse expectations. Likewise, I have learnt that I should be avoid plagiarism since it can iimpact my grades in online classes.

I have learnt from this course that there are different factors that can dictate the sucess of an online studnet. Self-motivation allows a learner to become determined in terms of completing all online courses, attending chat groups and meeting the requirements and policies of online classes. Time management allows students to avoid missing any online classes that are relevant. 

This topic has taught me that students with disabilities should be respected. Educators should understand and cooperate with all agencies that are responsible for providing resources that can aid the disabled students. Such cooperation can boost the overall performance of such learners.

Assistive technology tools should continue to be provided in educational institutions due to the contribution that they have on the improvement of the learning process for students with disabilities.

Awareness is one of the relevant factors that I have learnt from this topic. The information that I post online can cause conflicts especially if I fail to follow the required policies set by the educational institution. Awareness is therefore an essential factor that I have learnt from this topic.
