I've authored a book based on my research entitled, Now I Can Dream: Adult Black Males and the Mentors That Saved Them (2012).  I have recently come to embrace the value of online learning and the diverse population of learners that it serves.  I am a former Director of Private and Out of State Postsecondary Education with the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) and have held numerous assignments in postsecondary education, both public and private.
