Soft Skills are So Important

Reply to Lisa McGreer-Stap;es's post: I agree, soft skills are hard to teach. I have so many young adult learners who have such a sence of intiltement. It is hard for them to think of others and their feelings. Such skill are so important in the workplace and in life in general.

I have been a list maker for years. I have started to prioritize my list. What a diffence it has made in my time management. Less stress. Thanks for such a simple but excellent idea. I learned much from this section.

ED106 - Students with Learning Disabilities

I have enjoyed this class. I espically enjoyed the section on learning disabilities and the specific clasifications. Very insightful. There were many wonderful ideas on how to assist these students.

eye contact

I am unconfortable with eye contact. I usually look at someones teeth when I speek to them. Any helpful hints in developing my skills in eye contact?
