Profiles and Badges is something that I implement in my classroom. Students are awarded there Perfect attendance  and Honor roll certificate and they receive a pin to add to there layard . Students confidence goes up because they are showing off there acheivements. They work hard to receive the next one. It as times becomes a healthy competition between students. It definately empowers them.

The part of the lession talking about Technology usage in the classroom. This is new to me, i was always the more "OLD FASHION " instructor reading and highlighting the book and all electrical devices off. But with the time changing i have opened up to technology and now all my new have there laptops open and ready to go there are able to use there phones as well for recording, pic, completion of assignments. The dynamic of the classroom has changed but in a more positive way. The student have access to any information they need and can complete… >>>

For Student empowerment I learned that student to be successful they have to feel valued they need to be listened to, and they need to participate in active collaborative learning, they need to learn courtesy, respect and have good Rapport with there classmates. This is the goal for our students to learn in the class that is delivered  by the example of the instructor. Its the instructor that has the power to mold these students to be become GREAT HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS!

I learned that  42% of students in post secondary college DO NOT COMPLETE their programs. These students need to be engaged in ther assignments and instructors need to design lesson plans to engage them. The students need to feel that they are taking ownership of there grades and own it. The way  a lesson is being delivered is very important, The student needs to feel motivated they need to want to learn more and excited about it. The instuctor give that to them!
