I have my BS in Veterinary Science and Microbiology from the University of Arizona. Originally from southern California, I moved to the Bay Area in 2000 where I married and started a family. I worked at a local General Practice for 12 years as a Technician, Supervisor, and Inventory Manager. My main experience is in small animal practice with special interests in continuing education in surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.  

I chose to enter into education as I saw it as the next step in enhancing my professional skills.  I have always loved to teach and share knowledge with others and prior to becoming an Instructor for Veterinary Technology I enjoyed being a Clinical Rotation Supervisor to many VT students.
