I will definitly try the ARCS Model which I considered interesting and I think it will help in my communication with the students.

Technology is very important in an online course and as tutors we must create a possitive relationship and connections with our students through technology.

I have never thought of the skills students need to take a course, I take for granted that if they have enroll on an online course tecnology is not an issue. Now that I read the information giving I will be more aware of my students skills to support them so I can improve my students experience in the course.

It is important to establish clear expectation of the students code of conducts in the online classroom. I considered that if students know from the beginning what the teacher expects communication will becomo smother.  Also that working allience and creating a sense of belonging to the institution can create a possitve learning environment and can retain students.  

I learned from the information been share at this course I would like to introduce more technologcal options on my courses. I found that a study aid would be benefitial for my students.  I also want to implement the friendly reminders strategy, I usually send an announcement every week informing my students that a discussion forum and an assignment is aavailable and its due dates. But I considered that some students might benefit from friendly reminders of the due dates, especially for those students that have a hard time administating their time. I agree as an instructor we can do informal accomodations on the activities of the modules to meet our students learning styles to create a possitive learning environment. I also considered doing interactive activities or games to teach the content.
