Advertising can be a great thing for colleges around the world. It can attract students from all over to come to your campus. As long as the advertising stays within the guidelines. The only thing that is confusing to me is that one college can't say bad thing about another college, but when it comes to recruiting athletes, coaches normally put down other colleges. Maybe not much can be done about this because there isn't physical proof. I just find this to be interesting.

It is important that we explain to the student their possibilities once they complete their program, but we can't guarentee them a job. What we can do is have Career Services help them try to find a job. We can also have them attend a career day. We just need to make sure that we don't promise a student a job once they complete their program.

I have learned that leading by example is a good way to get people to follow you and understand where you are coming from. Some people can be very vocal while others can lead with their actions. There is no right or wrong way to do it, but I believe it is a important characteristic to have.
