Hi everyone! My name is Mardi Gilroy; I've been an RN since '89, I love nursing. I have my MSN in nsg education. I currently teach medical assistant students. I have taught RN/LPN students in the past.

I feel strongly connected to the student-centered learning model. I have always felt that the reason my diploma RN school was/is so sucessful was they were doing this style of teaching way before it was en vogue. They realized that the adult-learner came with lived experience and got rid of extraneous busy work.

On a personal note. I'm originally from CT living in SC (and love it). I have 3 children ages 28, 18, and 11. I have 5 cats. I enjoy reading and I'm a huge NY Giants football fan.
