Compliance & Transparency

I agree that transparency & honesty are the cornerstones to ultimate success, for everyone concerned. No one wants to feel they are dealing with the "used car salesperson". Keeping secrets or not fully opening a discussion that gives the students what they need to know only perpetuates the reputation that some schools have earned through deceitful practices... I do not want to be associated with such an organization. Truth and integrity should underlie every thing we do in life because I truly believe that the truth always emerges at some point, meanwhile the lies or deceptions create havoc in peoples… >>>

Permitting the "expert" to rise to the surface

This discussion is so right on. I actually had to go on voice rest for 2 weeks due to a vocal chord issue which meant I had to shut my mouth and listen to others. What an eyeopening experience. Amazing what we can learn from others. The comment about putting our egos on the shelf and allowing others to shine is a win-win for all, the team as a whole, it's members, the recipiants, and the comany. Win-win! I am a leader of a team, but I am also part of a team and therefore have a supervisor so I… >>>

]]> This was a terrific course - it is very similar to the Franklin-Covey approach which has been helpful to me in the past. I have ADD coupled with a type A personality... what a combination.... right?

Organization & time management have always been huge issues for me so having some tools that will help structure my time and therefore use time more efficiently are critical. Taking the "time" to stop, recognize that there is an issue is the beginning. "Time" invested to learn the strategoes that will address and remedy the issues is "Time" well spent.

Implementing the strategies also takes "time" and patience as we learn how to improve ourselves but if we do this, the payoff is enormous including decrease in stress, increased productivity and all that comes with it. Now let's see if I can practice what I preach. It's "time"!!!
