My class involves building an engine from the ground up.When completed, this engine must perform because upon completion, it is subjected to a series of dyno runs both in an almost factory stock state and a modified condition. Since the engine may very well exceed the factory established RPM level in it's modified state, it goes without saying that careful inspection,assembly practices and safety procedures play a very large role.I must say that I demand an all out effort on the part of the student plus I accept nothing other than the procedures and safety requirements that I laid out… >>>

As our school is vocational,working with students with disabilities is a real challenge. In most cases I have found that this type of student is usually quite motivated and what I try to do is give them the means to be sucessful. This can mean giving them their own work area or additional help before and after class. This must be done carefully because most do not want to think they are given special treatment. This is a fine line but I must say I have been thanked by all that have been in my class for being understanding but… >>>

As a Marine corp veteran, I am afraid I must agree with you that lately we have seen much of the "I'm only here
for the beer" mentality. This both saddens and angers me at the same time. I have to listen to how tough their
year in Iraq was and how they have some disorder that allows them to collect a healty sum of cash each month
on behalf of us, the U.S. taxpayer.HOWEVER, this does not prevent some from buying a new Harley or big
