In today's learning environment, the instructor has become the facilitator of the classroom. Through critical thinking, collaborative learning, and problem-based learning; students are becoming more dedicated learners. There are many more ways for students to gain an understanding of the information. All types of learners are now able to do well in the learning environment.

Active Learning is a wonderful tool for the instructor that helps each student to learn at their fullest potential. An instructor must be willing and positive to introduce active learning to their students. I really liked that active learning students have a chance to complete a self-reflection.

Active Learning is a very useful tool for both the online learner and F2F learner. It requires the students to take more responsibility for their individual learning. It might take multiple attempts to accomplish each goal. I personally love active learning because it allows students to apply the concepts.

This section shows the benefit of peer feedback, student evaluation, and the use of evaluation rubrics. These are useful to help students see how to improve their learning.

This section has taught me the differences between asynchronous and synchronous learning. Online learning allows students to have the opportuity to work on a Discussion Board where students/teachers can post and respond to each other at their individual convenience. If needed students and teachers can respond to each other in real time through Chat. These are a few of the benefits of online learning.

I tend to provide students the ability to learn in a asynchronous environment and still be able to participate with classmates. This will give them more practice at application process of learning.

It is not only important to add a strong foundation it is important to provide students with the ability to interact with all contact so they are applying their concepts and not just clicking through the material and not retaining anything.
