It is important to keep good communication about policies and procedures with your students in online learning so that you can try your best to avoid the challenges or push back from the students. Procrastination can become a big issue when in online learning because students may possibly feel less pressure not being face to face with the instructors and other students.

I believe that I will use both asynchronous and synchronous methods to create balance within my learning environment. It will help to make sure that the discussions within the online learning environment is the correct delivery and engagement for each student. I will most definitely use the asynchronous method because it will help me to navigate through the online learning styles.

I feel that it is very important for my students to learn about the knowledge and achievements that I have gotten along my journey. I feel as though it will help them to understand that I am capable of providing them with the learning environment that they desire to help them through each course. As we know each student learns differently and and come from different backgrounds, so I think that it is very important for each of us to get to know each other.

We are in a time where online learning is valuable to our students and it is important that as instructors we learn and familiarize the use of the CMS. In order for our students to become successful it is important that we learn how to navigate through online learning whether it is submitting grades, technical issues or any questions that the student may occur. Since online learning may be easy for some students and hard others I want to make sure that I am creating an environment where they all can be successful.
