Activity

I learned about how to better structure a game development team, as well as some web apps for design and collaboration.

Students should work in clusters. Have formative assessments ready at the beginning of the semester to measure different student strengths. Expet a chaotic atmosphere, but channel the creativity in the room and make it a controlled chaos with goals and deliverables.

I learned about the combination of AR and AI and what they could mean for practical applications of AI in the future.

I've learned that there are quickly growing  and expanding uses for AI that I don't quite understand yet, and that they will impact how I teach more and more going forward.

So many uses for AI. I like how this module use case studies for real world applications. I use it to write scripts, generate ideas for stories, and create graphics.

I've learned about different approaches to ai and how they are best suited for specific applications. I want to use it more in the production of my student daily show.

The technology's use by the public is still in its infancy, and many people's opinions are not fully formed on it yet, or are even misinformed, but I believe it must be embraced in education, but embraced slowly and purposefully.

I've learned that ChatGPT has amazing abilities to create graphics and lesson plans for teachers. It must be used with care with students though. The temptation for young people is very strong to just let ChatGPT do everything for them, and learning will be easily hindered in these cases.

I've learned that ChatGPT can be used for helping to set schedules and reminders. I'm still not aware of how that works, or if it can integrate with Google Calendar.

I've reviewed much of what I already knew about artificial intelligence. I feel that it is easy to be afraid of ai, but that it isn't going away, and we must embrace it and take advantage of its benefits or risk being left behind.
