In addition to taking this online class (CM102), I have taken 2 other online MK classes, read 3 books about teaching adults, consulted 3 people who successfully teach adults professionally, and read online articles about teaching. Here is what I try to do:

1) Find a teaching mentor.

2) Remember every day that I enjoy the privilege of teaching amazing people.

3) Continue to rework the classes to have less lecture and more student-focused activity in the form of projects, group work, and one-on-one work with me.

4) Bring energy to the subject and the learning process through my delivery performance and HOW I interact with students.

5) Keep learning about teaching and my subjects and continue to rework my teaching to make it better.

6) And, do 1-5 within the constraints of the rules and regulations of my school and governments.
