Motivating student is difficult until you can generate their passion in a subject. Got to find what the passion is.

Being a ADA instructor I realize the problems handicap people have. This program widened my prospecive to other forms of handicap situations. I have dealt with hearing impaired, using signing, wheelchair users. Those that I worked with did not believe they were handicapped. Yes some accomadation were need, but their drive and determination made the teaching easy.

Home work or self study is still needed to achieve success. Instructions for processing or repairing require undestanding of the proceedure to accompolish a ask. A student needs to read and learn what manuals, resouce materials, ETC to get a task done. Someone will not be around to interept or direct them in poceedures, they need to be capable of understanding and performing a task.

I have MS with physical disability, there are others worse off than I, so proceed forward with what you have, don't let things bother you, life too short to sress over things you can change. Be happy!

By having all esting material available and key components of the answers your looking for, so scanning your answers is at hand.

After a detailed discussion I find it helpful to revisit it by asking key question about what has been covered in the topic just covered.

I like to use a little of each method, especially when there is a varity of learning styles is in a group.

Keeping students in class and looking forward is difficult, but if the instructor keeps all the students involved in different sections of the course it keeps there interest, plus a hands on activite seem to keep them interested and returning to class the following day.
