I find that students relate to the content of what I am teaching because I have the passion for that subject. In a sense they feed off of my eagerness and get excited about the potential that they have. This ability has paid off through out the course and in their professional life. Bringing in relevant topics and personal stories allows them to be able to relate to me as not just their instructor but someone who has the background to be teaching this course.

Is it possible to find yourself in fluctuation with a multitude of these categories? It seems that I am changing my obstacles for each quarter that I am teaching. Could it be possible that I adjust those needs to meet the needs of the students? I am in amazement of the shifting that I can do for each quarter.

When I think back to my education, one class sticks out. In high school I had a teacher who by default made me realize all about the different learning styles that we have. When he would teach it was in such a unique way that all other students teased him but there was a method behind the madness. During each class period we had a video, a lecture, readings, and some other method thrown in for good measure. Though the kids made fun of him, I know that they all learned something from him too.
