It is extremely important to take the time to carefully craft assignments, projects, quizzes, etc that will reach each type of learner in your class. Instructors should ask themselves, from each learning style perspective - not just their own, if the assignments are engaging and would meet the needs of a gold, a blue, an orange a green, etc. The goal is to have an all inclusive and engaging foundation for a class that gets the most out of each attendee.    

I have learned not to lose sight of the importance of creating a sense of community and sharing that includes all. I have often found that the more sharing of experiences, that apply to the topic being covered, the more the content comes to life. This also creates a more engaging learning environment and allows for better understanding of applying the principles being discussed.

"When the instructor creates a sense of community. Students understand how they fit within the learning community and thus are comfortable sharing with their peers." 

I better understand my own personality traits, which may not work with a blanket approach to others when seeking desired outcomes. I need to be able to recognize the traits of others that are different from my own, and leverage that understanding to help drive them to success.

I have learned that while the instructor and student(s) may be striving to attain a similar outcome in a given course, the paths taken to get to that outcome are very different based on the individual personality traits. The instructor should be aware of these various personality traits that make up their classroom. Maintaining that understanding will help ensure that collaboratively the desired outcome can be attained, though through very different lenses.
