my name is James Bloy. I have been in the motorcycle repair business (harley davidson) full time since 1974.
I had a wonderfull oppertunity to come on as an instructor at a technical institute, and teach exactly what I had
been doing most of my working career. Sometimes it's challenging, but knowing these guys are interested in
what we are doing, keeps me going too.
Activity
I guess I'm really fortunate, the coarse I teach is an elective, and usually the last one they take before graduation.
They couldn"t wait to get to this class and generally enjoy it. Only a couple of issues come up as far as keeping them
from finishing. money problems and illness. Money problems can generally be taken care of by financial aid, illness
however is another story, and pretty much you can't do anything about it.
coarse was easy to navigate, very informative. i know there will be some content from this coarse i will be able to use
in the future

I agee whole heartedly, I make a concerted effort to try and get to know every one that comes through the door. Thats the personal touch I think they need to feel liked. If they come to me with problems, I don't send them away if doesn't
involve class, lending an ear once in a while whether it's a school issue or personal problem can go a long way.
