Love the breakdown of the different parts you need to have to be a good critical thinker.  It has so many different parts and facets and all need to be developed.

Critical thinking is such a complex process and is hard to do with so much information being thrown around. Slowing down and really going through the steps is essential and relaying this to students is so important.

I love the postcard idea of a 3 month follow up. This is a great way for students to see how far they have already come in a short amount of time.

I really like the thought of doing an assessment early on to get a handle on how students best learn. This will help me be mindful as I move through the semester.

The idea of putting information to a rap or cheer is an excellent idea.  I would happily let a students musical creativity shine.

Great reminders that you can flex your content to fix all learning styles. Adapting your classroom is what can set a teacher apart and make all the students feel seen.

Great reminders on how to take a step back and set yourself up for success in the classroom. Using resources, being prepared, and asking for help from other faculty can go so far.

Appreciate this detailed lesson on how to handle the different type of challenging students you will encounter. It is so important to be consistent, have clear guidelines, and look at yourself first when approaching situations regarding student conduct.

Great explanation of the different types of personalities you will see in your class and ways to help keep them in check and engaged.

Love the focus on setting students up for success by letting them know the "why" early on and setting up appropriate expectations.
