This was a very thorough course and it went into great detail about the subject matter. I also appreciated the fact that I could complete it on my own time and at my own pace. The additional links and resources allowed me to explore, not only what regulations and guidelines that I have to comply with in my state, but in others as well. Also, enjoyed the forums. This information is something that I will definitely use and refer back to when necessary.

While it is very imperative for students, employees and faculty to be protected while on campuses and feel safe while at work, is there a requirement that each institution have their own Security Department or will local Law Enforcement suffice so long as the annual reporting is done?
