My name is Shawn Gunnet and am a Criminal Justice Instructor at a Career Institute. I started teaching part-time over a year ago and recently resigned from my position as a Juvenile Counselor to teach full-time. I have a passion for teaching, both academic and practical application, and a fervent love for education and learning. At the Undergraduate level, I double-majored in Criminal Justice and Philosophy; so, Criminal Justice is not the only field of education I have a passion for. In addition to Criminal Justice, I love english, humanities, literature, and PHILOSOPHY! In some respects, I still consider changing my career path, and often think of teaching English/Humanities to high school students. Nontheless, as of now, I am having fun and am extremely dedicated teaching Criminal Justice to college students who want a career in the field I've had the opportunity to experience.
